A funny thing happened on the way to the kitchen table.

The kitchen table, a tucked away desk, or a spare bedroom; these are just a few places that people have turned to as their workspaces during the global pandemic. With this great change, a new set of unique problems and obstacles have arisen. Gone are the days of watercooler banter. Did you watch XYZ show or how did your big date go, has been replaced with a ten second commute to work with no co-workers around.

We have adapted and persevered through it all. Fifteen weeks to stop the virus is now in the second year with new variants springing up all over the globe. Just as we were all looking forward to regaining normalcy, the Omicron variant crashed the holiday party. We have remained loyal. Adapted to the various demands of our jobs and made sacrifices along the way.

The big question is: why?

The reason that we bring this up is in direct response to this news item. You're smart so I'll let you draw your own conclusions from the article, but to sum it up: the corporate mechanism that rules most of our lives is just fucking awful. It is broken. It doesn't care about you. We are all just replaceable automatons whose only value is to be valuable until we aren't. It sucks to realize it but it is 100% the truth.

Some have opened their eyes to this new reality and have done something about it. The Great Resignation, Hikikomori, and Tang Ping are just a few examples of what is happening around the world. Out of this ideology, NEETX Finance came to be. In future blog posts we will go into the intricacies of the ethos of our project, and what we hope to accomplish. NEETX is much more than just a cryptocurrency. Our goal is to create a community of like-minded individuals that see through the corporate bullshit and the illusion that being loyal to a business will pay off in the long run. We are here to support, to listen, and to share.

As simple as it sounds; life is meant to be lived. Let's take that journey together.
